Services
Survey, fault finding and documentation
When nobody knows what is in the wall or where the fault is — we start here.
Many projects start with nobody knowing exactly what is on site. In such cases we take on survey and documentation as a standalone service — even if the construction is ultimately delivered by someone else.
We also take on standalone fault finding: we isolate the fault, show its cause and state what the repair will cost.
What problem does this solve?
Without documentation every intervention is a risk and an extra cost. An accurate survey typically returns several times its own price during construction.
Work carried out
- On-site technical survey
- Route planning
- Condition assessment of existing networks
- Fault isolation on fibre and copper networks
- Measurement reports
- Photo documentation
- Handover documentation
- As-built documentation
Typical applications
- Technical baseline data for a tender or request for quotation
- Mapping the network of a building in unknown condition
- Root-cause investigation of a recurring network fault
- Filling documentation gaps before handover
The process
- 01
Alignment
We clarify what the survey is for — the purpose determines the level of detail.
- 02
Site work
Walk-through, measurement, photography and mapping of the existing system.
- 03
Evaluation
We evaluate the results and name the specific problems.
- 04
Handover of documentation
You receive a written package another contractor can also work from.
Documented handover
What we hand over
- Survey report
- Measurement results
- Photo documentation
- As-built or condition drawing
- Recommended next steps with estimated cost
Other services
Fibre-optic networks
From route construction through fusion splicing to the measurement report.
DetailsHFC networks
Coaxial and hybrid network construction, extension and signal level verification.
