On main contractor projects we work as a specialist subcontractor. We take over the low-voltage and telecommunications scope, from the survey to a handover closed with a measurement report.
We know that what matters to a main contractor is not how much cable we pull, but that the specialist scope does not slip, does not come back as a defect, and that the handover documentation is in order. We run our operation accordingly.
What specialist scope we take on
- Fibre route construction, cable pulling, splicing and testing
- Structured cabling — Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, with certification testing
- Rack cabinet installation, internal build-out and labelling
- Low-voltage routes and cable tray systems
- Wired preparation for smart home and building automation systems
- Survey, fault finding and documentation of existing networks
Survey and quotation
- We give an indicative price from the specification or drawings.
- The final, itemised quotation follows the on-site survey.
- Materials, labour and testing are shown separately.
- We state explicitly what is not part of the scope.

Project communication
- One point of contact for the whole project.
- Written progress updates weekly or at an agreed frequency.
- Delay risks flagged in advance, not on the deadline itself.
- We attend the trade coordination meetings.
Deadlines and quality control
- The schedule is aligned to trade coordination and recorded in writing.
- We self-check in stages during construction, not only at the end.
- Failed outlets are repaired and re-tested before handover.
- We attend to post-handover defects under the agreed warranty.
